Screens are not wide enought to show the brain and the designs with Foundations.
I have tried but I made it better. Tired again. I am offline. Deborah Marie

My story – Deborah Marie, Designer by Hobby for GEMASSIST Brain Awareness
Every morning I wake up and I do not know how the day will begin. God will bless me either way. My hemiplegic migraine and my left hemisphere damage and trigeminal neuralgia complicate the neurons in my brain. I could stop and give up but I have learned with support from Shepherd Center Hospital, GA and Frazier Rehabilitation Institute, KY that I do not have to give up. All I have to do is the one thing for each day to accomplish my task. By no means is my life perfect or was it when I was a Project Manager, but my self – esteem was there before my injury. There was no accident, no great point of change, but many mistakes from a rare migraine treatment with many misdiagnosis before that. Nobody likes to hear that especially me since Engineering is an exact science at its best, but the world of medical there is a room for error and when errors are made. It can change a life forever. I woke up today today and realized that my recent depression was from knowledge.
Yes, the available knowledge which I am glad for it! That the Doctor that caused my brain injury is back at work!!! Work as a doctor!! I and many others lost our jobs but he can come back after damaging patients and work. Why?? Why??? This is the wrong system for doctors!!! Seriously people I have had a lifetime of medical bills and neurological and other medical problems since my damage. How wrong is this??? Deborah Marie😭 To All, (this may not be perfect writing but I did my best)
A brain injury is a life long process and I have learned over the years that it does not stop. Their are other types of brains that have life long occurrences but I believe some do get help with new drugs and schools and other training programs. Mainly if you can afford them; not everyone can as you know. When I am in pain or not I just love hearing these voices.
They compliment each other so well. https://youtu.be/5_OHAkzfT_U Enjoy! Deb Traveling - How do I do it?
Well, I drive locally on painless days and I enjoy 😊 it very much. I get to visit shops and cafes and old friends and restaurants in my area😀 Did I get it right?
Every day I wake up and I say to myself what a wonderful day! I do not want to hear problems or anger or frustration because I am not ready yet. I need that cup of coffee and breakfast then if I can make it through that I am going to have a good day. Sometimes I wake up with pain but I try to get further than that with my coffee and breakfast- snap I am tired back to bed 😟 Well, Gemassist Brain Awareness Foundation is not easy.
I was on a plane to go to Frazier Rehabilitation Institute in Louisville, KY. That is my brain injury rehabilitation facility with Dr. Darryl L. Kaelin. I was talking to a gentlemen about various things. I do not get on a plane by myself so my husband was in another area. Anyway, I have his business card and I can tell you who he is but I think that would be inappropriate without asking. As time when on during a very long silence, I asked what kind of a business he was in! Yah! He was very proud and told me he has a private business selling health insurance for people's pets. He has several offices one in Atlanta and Louisville and he showed me the facility as we flew by in Louisville, KY I said to him "I bet it is easier to get people to buy pet insurance than to buy to help brain injury patience." He smiled - You know you are right; no one wants to think about brain injury or stokes. They do love their pets! It saddens me that this is the reality for brain injury or stroke patients. All the Best and God Bless! Have a wonderful Day! www.gemassist.org Hello,
I thought blogging would be so easy. All you have to do is write. Ok! That is difficult for me. There are some days my brain is very clear and I can write about what has been happening, but really and truly. This is very hard for me. It is just a normal day at Frazier Rehabilitation Institute for Brain and Spinal
It was not a normal day for me. My story – Deborah Marie Designer by Hobby for GEMASSIST Brain Awareness

I am in this video with the blue glasses. It was made for migraine disabling awareness thru migraine.com. I am a member and it is a wonderful resource for assistance. Thank you for participating! I did some pretty crazy things to get into medical school (don’t worry Mom, nothing illegal). For several years before applying I became a medicine groupie. I read books about being a doctor, watched documentaries about medicine, shadowed physicians for hours on end so I could imagine what it might be like. I watched many a friend go off to med school and graduate … and I waited, I hoped. I did research (which involved a little too much rat killing for my liking), I worked in a peach orchard to demonstrate my dedication to migrant farm worker health. I became an EMT; I got three master’s degrees. I got as close to medicine as I could. And I wanted it. I wanted it bad How doctors can protect their online reputation
A continuing series on physician online reputation. Created in partnership with The Doctors Company as part of their social media resources for physicians. Once you establish online reputation, you have to protect it. I was once reading a newspaper article where an emergency physician in Rhode Island decided it was a good idea to post interesting cases that she had seen ... Recently, the New York Times featured a post about me and my practice. Titled “Walking Away from Medicare,” it describes my decision to opt-out of Medicare and create a different kind of geriatric practice. I am just a person out there that started campaigning for Brain Awareness as I was in my recovery!
I was so emotional about all the brain and spinal issues around me. I asked my husband to do something. He developed with myself and Ben Watters. Our logo and our name. We registered it with the United States trademark and patent office. http://watchdog.org/197125/left-behind-critics-say-federal-education-fix-wont-work/
